Antigen Supply: We recommend antigen quantities based on the host animal, with 1 mg/mL as the ideal concentration. All antigens should be shipped on dry ice.
Immunization Protocols: Our 70-day protocol includes four immunizations, pre-immune bleeds, and final production bleeds, ensuring a 1:10,000 ELISA titer.
Purification: We offer Protein A/G/L and peptide affinity chromatography, specializing in phospho-specific antibody purification.
Screening: Our ELISA and Western Blot systems ensure optimal screening of individual bleeds, including phospho-peptide selection.

Custom Animal Ascites Production Services by Antagene
At Antagene offers high-quality custom ascites production tailored to your research needs. Whether you require small-scale or large-scale production, we handle the entire process with precision and care, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines in a USDA registered research facility.
Our Services Include:
Priming and Cell Preparation
We provide priming of at least 10 mice per hybridoma clone using Pristane, with a standard priming period of 14 days. You can supply your cells or send frozen vials (3×10⁶ cells/vial), with a thorough viability test and expansion before inoculation. Additional services available for Nude and SCID mice for non-murine hybridomas.
Hybridoma Inoculation & Monitoring
Once primed, mice are inoculated with hybridoma cells. We monitor them daily for ascites development, typically completing the process within 2-3 weeks. You can choose between unpurified or purified ascites.
Harvesting and Purification
Ascites are harvested through daily taps, pooled, centrifuged, and stored at -70°C. If required, we offer antibody purification with IgG purification available for an additional fee ($500). We deliver 15-20mg of purified antibodies per order.
